Living in the age of COVID-19
RV Sterilization Program
Georgia Motorcoach has made preparations to protect you and your family from the COVID-19 virus. We have always wiped surfaces with sanitizing wipes, but starting in March 2020, we are also using our ozone machine to thoroughly disinfect each RV between rentals. Studies have shown that ozone is very effective at killing the COVID-19 virus, and it is good at getting to places that human hands can’t reach or may have missed.
The treatment takes about 4 hours and during that time, is not safe for humans or animals to enter the RV. The ozone dissipates within 15 minutes after the treatment, and the RV is completely safe afterward. You may notice a “swimming pool” like smell when you first enter the RV. This is your assurance that the RV has been treated.
Is it safe to travel by RV with COVID-19 out there?
RV is by far the safest way to travel right now. The RV will be fully sanitized before you arrive, and it will provide you with the opportunity to isolate yourself from the public. Many private campgrounds and Georgia State Parks are currently open, and an RV is a great way to get out of the house and enjoy nature. Check your destination before booking.
Since you have your own kitchen, there is no need to eat out. You can enjoy cold drinks and marshmallows around the campfire with your family rather than exposing yourself at a hotel bar.
Come see our collection of RV’s at Georgia Motorcoach and book your escape now!
For the safety of our staff and customers, Georgia Motorcoach’s office is now closed to the general public. Only customers with confirmed reservations and picking up their RV’s will be admitted into the office or our RV’s until further notice. We are no longer allowing people into RV’s at booking or prior to the start of their trip. Reservations may be booked online or by phone.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but we feel it is the best way to keep everyone healthy and well.
